What if you had to work with your arch-enemy?
Everything was going according to plan until Beau Sutton and his brother Hank bought my family’s pizzeria and took away my dream. That’s okay because I have a plan.
Be a surrogate.
Buy back my family’s pizzeria or start a new one.
Don’t fall for grumpy Beau.
This plan sounded simple. None of these plans are working out like I thought they would.
Holly Springs is the worst and best thing that could have happened to me.
For the first time in my life, I’m trying to put myself first, starting over. I moved with my brother Hank to Freedom Valley to have a fresh start with our new pizzeria, Freedom Pie.
There’s a problem. I make the WORST pizza ever and I can’t get it right. I need to find a co-chef to save the restaurant and one fast.
The other problem is Holly Springs. From the moment I first saw her, I wanted her. She’s adorable, fiery, and friends with everyone in this small town, except me.
Can I get her to stop hating me and see that we both want the same dream?
It is always a pleasure to come back to Freedom Valley.
I have been following Erin Branscom since her first book in this series. I found her on Tiktok when I was scrolling and trying to find free books
because I was all in for ARC books and helping indie authors to promote their books before depression and anxiety said "Not anymore, darling", anyway...
I was so overwhelmed while I was reading this book because it is the last of the series (I think there will be a prequel or something. But you know what I mean) if there's something that I love about the whole series, it is that is the type of romance book that feels real, cozy. You connect with the stories and each character because they are similar to real-life stories, and it doesn't have that extra toxicity like other books.
In Snowed Inn we follow Holly who is trying to make her dream of getting back her parents' pizzeria place, but the new owner doesn't want to sell it back to her. In a way to try to get more money and try one more time to get the pizzeria back, she decides to be a surrogate and use that check for her dream... but the parents of the baby in question die in an accident.
On the other hand, we have Beau, the new owner of the pizzeria, who has the same dream as Holly, but the only problem is that he can't make pizzas... ironically, right? Both of these characters have an enemy thing when they meet. But throughout the book, they find a way to work together. Holly teaches Beau to make pizza, and Beau helps Holly with work to be able to keep the baby.
And the star of the show is not any other than a squirrel
Stephen is a squirrel that lives behind the pizzeria and is a smart animal that everyone loves and gives him food. ADORABLE!
This book is perfect for those who love fast-read books with that cozy vibes. The type of books you can pick up one rainy morning and not stop till you finish it while you are around delicious-smell candles and a hot beverage. Have tropes like Enemies to lovers, small town, grumpy sunshine, family found, and he fell first
